Together, they lead with expertise and dedication, building the vital infrastructure that connects communities.

Field Operations Manager
Trevor Sundquist, C.E.T., GSC
With over 41 years of experience, Trevor Sundquist leads field operations at Access Bridgeworks. His expertise spans bridge construction, structural concrete, and civil infrastructure, making him a cornerstone of the company’s success.
Prior to joining Access Bridgeworks, Trevor held a senior field leadership role at PCL, where he managed a wide range of major bridge, civil, and structural projects. Most notably, he served as the structural superintendent for Rogers Place in Edmonton, overseeing the execution of complex structural work and supervising hundreds of subtrades.
Trevor’s impressive portfolio includes the replacement of the Duggan Bridge in Edmonton, the Saline Creek Pedestrian Bridge in Fort McMurray, two City of Saskatoon interchange projects worth over $100 million, and the Rabbit Hill Road and Henday interchange, which featured Alberta’s widest cast-in-place concrete deck at the time. Additionally, he was the superintendent for seven bridge structures as part of the Southeast Anthony Henday expansion.
Trevor’s hands-on leadership, meticulous planning, and ability to adapt to challenging conditions ensure the safe and efficient delivery of every project.

Project Manager
Forrest Chatwin, E.I.T.
Forrest is a Project Manager and Bridge Engineer-in-Training with experience in bridge construction, bridge and culvert inspections, contract administration, and engineering consulting. He is also a TEC Class B Bridge Inspector and continues to inspect bridges across Alberta.
Forrest has served as the project manager for Access Bridgeworks’ projects ranging in value from $170,000 to $7 million, including both rehabilitation and new construction work.
Prior to joining ABW, Forrest worked as an engineering consultant, completing bridge design, inspections and assessments, bridge and culvert asset management, contract administration, and resident engineering services. He worked with a range of clients including municipalities, Alberta Transportation, and industrial oilfield clients. Forrest’s notable projects include the construction administration of HWY 2:30 and 2:32 overhead sign structures, the 2023 Suncor Base Plant bridge inspections and asset management plan, the 45 year operations and maintenance plan for Alberta Newsprint Company's Athabasca River Bridge, and the contract admin and resident engineering for the installation of BF09851, the trenchless installation of a 72 m long, 9 ft dia. culvert under HWY 16 in the Elk Island National Park.
Forrest’s role extends across all stages of project execution, from tender reviews and estimating to planning, scheduling, and field support. His hands-on approach and problem-solving skills ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards.
