The Waskasoo Creek Bridge, a single-span SCC girder structure on Highway 2A, underwent targeted rehabilitation to address localized deterioration and enhance durability. Serving as a vital link for local traffic, the project prioritized safe operation while minimizing disruption to the area.
Access BridgeWorks completed tasks such as filling voids at abutments, placing granular backfill, installing riprap for erosion protection, waterproofing the deck, upgrading approach rail transitions, and repairing soffit concrete. Epoxy injection restored cracks, and a Class 3 rubbed finish improved durability and aesthetics. Completed in just 12 days, the project showcased Access BridgeWorks’ efficiency and commitment to delivering long-lasting, high-quality results with minimal impact on traffic and the environment.
