In 2024, Access BridgeWorks was contracted to rehabilitate the structure, addressing deteriorated concrete, improving drainage, and stabilizing the channel beneath the bridge. The project included in-stream riprap installation, partial-depth concrete repairs to the deck, curbs, and piers, epoxy crack injection, deck waterproofing, and asphalt paving of the deck and approaches.
To ensure accuracy, Access BridgeWorks used a snooper truck for a detailed pre-construction inspection of the piers and deck underside, reducing scope changes during the project. Maintaining access for residents was critical, so Access BridgeWorks implemented a phased construction plan, ensuring uninterrupted access while delivering a durable and efficient rehabilitation.
